Pick is in. Thanks for waiting.

Hopefully I took one of Jistic's two guys so he doesn't have to stress.

If Luna develops and becomes a Superstar, can we call him "Roo-Lu"?

LOL you did. Love your pick. I need hitters badly but I don't know if I could've passed on Thomas.

We went with CF JJ Caplan. Didn't think he'd be here but we're happy he was.

My scout likes Velazquez so much, even if he does the typical international under developed routine... he still should be a solid player.

I was choosing between Caplan and Thomas as well.

Rebooting my laptop. Might be a while before I'm ready to pick (45 mins?). I can entertain trades in the meantime if anyone is interested.

My scout thought he'd be picked first. I was scared to pick him. In the scouting report he raves about him. Then gives him crappy ratings. He may explode though into a stud.

I had Luna and Lombardo as my two choices in that order. I am concerned about Lombardo's 3rd pitch but I think he will be fine. I think I will have a solid pitching staff in 3 seasons.

Got my guy. And it's my brother's name.

Had interest in Lombardo but was also concerned with his ethic and third pitch.

Edit: also it doesn't matter bc he was taken a pick before me. I guess I have no reasons to feel remorse. The best hitter and pitcher were taken already. To me, Hernandez is the second best hitter in the draft. Both my scout and OSA see him developing nicely for a 2B.

Pick is in. I didn't want to do it, but I took an INTL guy, SP Willie Castellanos. Nothing else seemed worth a pick at 1.8, so I went with a lottery ticket instead. Hope it pays off.

Looked at Caplan at 1.2, but he reminded me of Tyler Quinn with the 2-3-2-2-2.

Also liked Fudd Thomas, but the rotator cuff scared me away after the Aten re-injury this past sim.

Big fan of Castellanos. Nice pick, Brad.

Caplan was #1 on my board, but I'm not sure I would have been able to pull the trigger on him. He's SO far away from developing. He may spend 4+ years in A Ball.

Castellanos, we'll see. My scout really likes him and OSA likes him even more than my scout. I'm certain he'll immediately flame out, but it felt worth the risk.

I liked Castellanos too. MY scout had in as the #1 guy on his board. All the guys picked so far were in my top 15. MY scouts #1 hitter though is still around we will see if he is still there when I pick at 11.
