    SIM COMPLETE - 1997 - SIM 4

    There are a few teams that have now missed multiple consecutive SIMS. Everyone hated the SIM STATS last year, so I'm not posting them. Just a reminder that you should be double-checking your exports. Make sure you're choosing EXPORT FILE VIA FTP.

    I'll set up the Draft Utility this weekend. We'll kick off the Draft on Monday some time.

          5-2, still on top. Stewart goes down a week, but Lindsey is back. Carbajal next week. Starting to hit, pitching is good. Godron blowing some saves. Maybe it's Mac Aaron time.

              Took an 'L' from young Mr. Keifer, but took the rest of the week.

              All's right with the world...

              Maeda is on a tear. April IL POM and IL POW this week. He's dropping bombs right now. I think his 30's are going to be kind to him. Not ruling out a Stout Slugger for Pat's favorite "glorified double's hitter".

              Gus Jenkins takes home IL Pitcher of the Month for April. I predicted a big year from Gus and elevated him to the #2 spot accordingly. He's responded.

              Gene Legere made his debut on the TOP PITCHERS list last week (#20)...he actually jumped a couple spots this week.

              Speaking of that list...

                We're only a game out in the divisional pyt standings. So we'll be using those going forward. Still pitching really well, I think Kit Kat is back. I'm using the new 'rehab assignment' feature on Angelo Hernandez for fun. Sure we could use his bat but might as well see what it's all about.

                    I actually liked the SIM Stats especially since I didn't miss an export last year and Jake missed several.

                      Our most successful sim. 3-4. Things are looking up...

                      Take away Cota and Stewart's bad start, and our bullpen is solid. I expect it will be and it's young. The combination of Mens, Gerard and Olivo is dynamic for us. And I like Soto as a middle reliever along with Rodriguez.

                      So nice to see Chad Sinclair hitting the ball instead of hitting walls.

                      Frank Tufts is better as a utility guy. He just is.

                      Cy Gray has 18 hits and 9 doubles. But also has 20 strikeouts. The pains of being a rookie.

                              4-3 and I'll always take a winning sim. Our bullpen gave up a couple of big leads that I'm not too happy about. I'll chalk it up to just being a bit young.
