    NEXT SIM: Monday AM

    ***

    - Commish To Do Emptied
    - Rule V Returns Returned
    - Trades Processed

As noted in the "Candle" thread... Carolina and Los Angeles did not export and were at 34 players. I did my best to send down guys who did not have BLB contracts to make it as clean as possible. Sorry if anything got screwed up, but we had to plow on.

    ***

Minor League Play starts this week. Please make every effort to field full Minor League Teams.

Glad we got off to a fast start. In 6 games we had 10 runs and 17 runs against us. Outstanding...

4-2...Carbajal out 5 weeks. Kip Higgins now starts and Efrain Garcia comes up to be our utility middle IF. Other than a Godron blown save and 1 shakey appearance by Kayra the staff and pen looks good.

3-3. Played relatively well against two very dangerous offensive teams. We lost two 1-run games and put 24 on the board IN ONE GAME against one team. So much for a park expansion.

I like the way we looked in week one. This team will score some runs. Now we have to hope our starters can hold it together every once in a while.

Well, at least no one else got hurt. We get Rivera back next week.

I managed to sign Lucca Memmoli to a five year extension worth a total of $5M. He's off to a hot start this year, too. I'm gambling that last year was a sophomore aberration.

Not sure what happened... but I'll gladly take a 4-2 start.

Have a feeling it won't last long with a four man rotation... that features one BLB ready arm, but I'll ride the wave while it lasts.

5-1 after 6 road games? We'll take that any way we can get it. Doesn't mean much long term for our season prospects, but it's always a good thing to get off to a good start. We didn't do much offensively, but the pitching was effectively in lock down mode all week long. Colm Engle had a good 1st week with 4 saves and a W thrown in as well, so he directly contributed in all 5 wins.
