Ivan Martinez moves from "Bullpen" to "Starter" and back and forth three times... now he's a borderline starter to really throw me off. Guess I just need to give up and move him to the pen.

We are going to be bad, like, historically bad this year. I don't see how there could be anyone worse.

      Looking at you, Ryan.

I don't foresee another vacation this season. Maybe a brief trip late in the Summer, but maybe I'll be more technologically mobile by then.

Without the stats, morning sims are no longer fun.

Great start to the year in terms of injuries as well.

Signed Freddie Thompson to be an anchor of our staff. Which doesn't mean much because I can't tell you if he's gonna be like he was in Pawtucket last year or Batavia. Considering one is the DL and the other the IL, I'm worried. But at $2.5 MM, it's a good buy since we aren't actually going to win a title or anything special.

Also convinced McCarthy to catch for us by giving him half the money Borkholder wanted. Something wrong with that. Considering I paid Borkholder two times the amount to crap on home plate, I don't care if McCarthy provides the same offense and defense. At $4.5 MM, I'll take it.

There's nothing but upside for these guys. Even if they are worse than they look, I paid very little for them.

Also happy to lock in Angelo Rodriguez to a one-year deal that includes two team options. Can't get better than that. He is a walk-machine and can hit a little. Good character guy; the type of guy we want in Denver. I picture him as the guy that gets dirty on the field, tells jokes, and is the first out of the dugout to congratulate a teammate.

The Minor League to Major League contract is pretty interesting and a nice realistic touch. Kind of like the old Camp Invite in ST. I saw a guy looking for "a minor league deal that becomes a $1.2 million dollar deal if called up within 30 days of Opening Day".

I have that with one player now. Probably end up bringing him up though and paying him.

From what I've read on the OOTP forums Statslab works just fine with 12 for most leagues.

It'd be nice if some of the really old guys saw this as an opportunity to play.

                      Looking a you, Buzzell.

Well, I was excited to see that Jonah McCarthy was OK with playing for a Minor League team.

That's not nice, Clay. He wants to help build another championship caliber team.

I kid. McCarthy for $4.5 is a bargain.

Any reason Derrick Tuckee didn't pitch?
