I like how Sanchez wins 16 games. I think it's not too far off. We are about an 82-86 win team this year.

This thing is very curious.
How can Denver give up so many more runs and score less than Dallas and yet still inch out in the division.
Could it be that OSA is predicting that Denver will actually outplay their Pyth Record? That in itself is a bloody lie. That happens just as often a DL team not named Maine wins the Cup.Last edited by Carlos; 04-20-2012, 11:15 AM.Denver Bulls

On the mound, I think we end up leading the Import League in strike outs and walks

But to answer your question he'll probably be ok after a couple years there.

And, I'm assuming he sees Linesman being 19 (meaning time to develop) and not exactly going to be a great outfielder (OSA has his errors at 4 and his arm at 5. Not gonna win any DWI's with those).
Sure, Linesman can still develop those pieces, but that very very rarely happens. Most guys are as good or bad defensively as they'll ever be and what will likely go up is their Rating at a position.
The only warning I'll give to Tom if he chooses this route is to know that when a player changes positions (especially drastically), he may suffer offensively for a bit. Anything you do in this game has risks. I think Linesman will be a good player, despite this, but know that he could struggle offensively as he wraps his mind around playing 1B and you'll have to cross your fingers on how this might affect his development. It could stunt it; it could prolong it; it could have zero effect.Denver Bulls

I'll have to disagree with players not getting better defensively, especially when you start grooming them at such a young age. 1st baseman are just so common, I wouldn't use his development time learning a new position. Linesman is talented, personally I'd just keep him

Hey, not making an opinion on what Tom is doing. I don't care if he makes Linesman a 1B or keeps him in the OF. I don't even care how good or bad his players are. I'm merely pointing out why he asked. But, he should know what can happen if he makes the change.
If you can find me a good list of players that went from average outfielders to great, I'd like it. I'm sure it happens once in a blue moon, but it's extremely rare. Guys simply do not become great fielders if they aren't at least good.Denver Bulls
