Pre-Season Content Idea

Just spit-balling...

I'll obviously still release SHAVERMETRICS before Opening Day, but with recent talk of "new content" I've been thinking of some ideas.

The one I keep coming back to is a 6-part series where we go division by division and do SEASON PREVIEWS. My original thought was to do it as a series of Podcasts, but I don't think I'm logistically ready for that with vacation coming. So here's my thought...

6 Season Previews. One for each division. The wrinkle being each will be written by an Owner from the opposite league. So, for example, an IL Owner would write the ALE preview, while a DL owner will write the Bock preview.

Open format. The owner who voluneers can do as much as they want in whatever way they want.

Any way...thoughts? Volunteers?

I'll write whichever ones don't get claimed, but I'd love to see 6 Owners take the reigns. I have some ideas if anyone wants them.

This is something I've always wanted to do but knew would take far too much work to do it all alone. Kinda like the book.

My thought was kind of mirror what they do on ESPN or CNNSI in baseball pre-season.

The one thing I thought about doing, which I remember from reading the baseball preview issue in SI magazine, was the whole "What another scout is saying". My thought was I'd send a few guys PMs and say something like "What do you think about (TEAM X)" and excerpt a quote from there without revealing who said it.

that last part is interesting... send every guy like three teams to make comments on and then compile them. I like.

Yeah I like that idea. It's the kind of thing we have to do to generate quotes here.
