          Same here. My scout thinks he'll be ok. Nothing special and definitely not worth 8M per.

            Fun fact.

            If he signs a contract, he'd be the youngest player signed to a free agent contract or extension in 1997. No one 24 or under has been in the league long enough to exercise free agency. Al Hamilton and Angelo Gonzalez at 25 are currently the youngest to have received a contract extension.

                  Split the difference on the 8's and ehhh's, and you probably get a guy with a floor of a 5/6/5/5/5 hitter... I hope.

                    Yeah, I wish there was a way to know this historically. I'm sure Nelson has to be the youngest, regardless of no historical proof.
