Just curious why you post who didn't upload? Is that in case somebody bitches that their offers weren't submitted or something? I won't be uploading for awhile cuz there's nothing for me to do.

Partially for my own record... but also so that if people THINK they uploaded but I didn't get one, they can see that and we can look at settings and resolve their issue.
I ended up having more money than I needed, so I offered Logo a 1 year deal at around $15 just to take a flyer that maybe I'd get a "hometown discount". His deal at Mississippi was really my best case scenerio. I take the Type A and he goes to a DL team that I feel like I'm better than even with Woodbury.
I half expected to see him on a Stout team just to spite me. Totally OK with where he ended up. The Storm have some nice boppers now, but I'm not sure they have the pitching to beat me in a series.
Translation: As always, its all about my best chance to win it all.

I think he has a .900 in him still. I don't know Mississippi's park well, but if he can DH and stay healthy, he'll still draw a shitton of walks.
BB/K dropped from each year the last three years.
1994 - 3.08
1995 - 2.04
1996 - 1.39
1997 - ?
To me, if a real world scout saw that... they'd say "bat speed is way down". So the more he ages, the less he's able to catch up to pitches, the lower his OPS will be.
California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013 Brewmaster's Cups: 1987 Import League Champions: 1987, 1989

I agree with you, but his volume of BB's is still high. He quietly had a great season last year...just not a Logo season. I think .890-.920 is well within reach. Just a feeling and I stand to gain nothing by selling his virtues. If I traded him for a ransom and was trying to BS, thatd be one thing. I honestly hope I'm wrong. If he"s in the low .800 I look smart for letting him walk.
I still say he has an underpaid and overpaid year.
Mississippi's contract is just about the best you can do in this situation. You pay him for what you hope he'll be and you pay him for what he was (that's just how it goes at his age and performance level). If they get lucky and Woodbury is still a threat after his second year, then his vesting option pays for itself.
If Woodbury ends up being severely overpaid the 2nd season, I doubt Mississipi lets him start games and they end up eating one year.
