-Another DL transfer, Caden was drafted in the 3rd round by the Windy City Playboys back in 1986. Traded to Pawtucket in 1991 and then Dallas in 1994, Hill has been an excellent addition to every pitching staff he has joined. Last year, Hill had a season ending injury in the preseason and Dallas decided not to resign him. We are definitely happy to have a guy with his talent, added to the staff.
Wasn't a choice--no money...wouldn't let me re-sign him. However, that major injury was a little scary, but I was disappointed I didn't even get a chance to extend him.
I mean who is like leading in the offers of guys not considered the top 25 in contract offers that you see in the offseason center.
I don't think there is a clear cut leader until the player explicitly expresses his thoughts on the offer in an email to you. All of the guys I signed or am leading in, have sent the an email stating that we are leading his list of offers or telling me who is ahead.

oh ok. I just remember in 11 at the bottom of the contract offer page it said who the player was favoring. Thats all I was looking for.

Oh...well it's still there but just different. If you offer a contract to a player that is favoring a team, he will tell you in negotiations who he is favoring.
I think a great number of guys don't have that because no one is offering them a cent. Demands are too high for most of these guys.
Owners don't HAVE to spend towards their PD, but I'm pretty sure this is a league that will rather spend towards minor league potential rather than signing FA anyway. Even if the gain is minimal.
Its a good way to maintain salaries. Woodbury only getting ~18M/per and Shitty will probably be about the same.
I agree. Just mentioning that turning it off is an option. My assumption is that disabling would mean development just works ezxactly the same as 11 versus it being ON but people choosing not to spend on it.
