Fan Interest jumped +8 on my extension. Just a note to people asking about boosting Fan Interest.

Feel like Pancho @ $16.0 is a steal. Totally worth the gamble of the long extension. I jumped at it.

Thats actually not true. Pawtucket had no fan interest early 90's but we signed "well known" players to the minors and we kept getting small-decent bumps. Granted the major league players get better bumps but it does help.

So far in this version, you can release "fair" players and nothing seems to happen. Maybe the impact isnt as great in OOTP 12?

Just like your fans.

You're not going to boost it by bringing in borderline AAA talent. You have to bring in big names, but more importantly win. The game does a pretty good job of capturing fan interest. Wilmington should have God awful fan interest right now. And it shouldn't be turned quickly or easily. It took like 7 years (82-89) for me to turn around VIR's fan interest and it took Harcourt, Woodbury, and a slew of HIGH draft picks.

Taking on other teams garbage because they're popular will not make a major turn.

Its a marathon, not a sprint. Crap players might give you a small pop, but they pop the other way when they're on the garbage heap next season.

Your fan interest will take care of itself if you build your team the right way. You're going to suck for a few years, but if you have a plan in place, it's all good in the end.
