Glad to see that he'll be sticking around to tutor Jerry Brown when he takes his spot in the outfield. Of course, with Guzman playing like he did in the second half last season, he might have more left than that. He'll hold his Hall of Fame induction party from his new restaurant for sure.

I have a ton of money to spend. A lot. My budget jumped up so much that I'm not even constrained by that, it's the cap that I'd be up against.

I'm not sure I see anything in free agency that I'm willing to spend a ton of money on, but maybe I'll go crazy. Even though I can't see it, I have a feeling there's several teams with plenty of budget space.

Hmm conflicting data. I do have a plan but the fans aren't buying it. I am already at the point where I can't afford to keep the talent I have. When is the last time you saw a kid in a Wilmington ball cap.

I saw 14 kids in Wilmington hats once...but they were all Sully's kids.

Got Tony Romo to be my backup first baseman. Like his skill set and he'll be a nice option if Rojas or St. Laurent ever get hurt. He's not a great defensive OF but he can play there. Also picked up Kenichi Sato but I'm not sure how he'll fit in.

Two signings so far for the Bulldogs.

                      Jeremiah Alexander
                      (C)

-Jeremiah was one of the players I in my first draft in the BLB. Just an 8th round pick back in '84, Alexander is probably the league's best defensive catcher of all time, Alexander spent the last four seasons in the Ale (2 with Pawtucket and Maine). Alexander will unseat 1997 ROY finalist, Wes Foster, because of his ability to hit lefties well and his unmatched defensive abilities behind the plate.

                      Caden Hill (MR)

-Another DL transfer, Caden was drafted in the 3rd round by the Windy City Playboys back in 1986. Traded to Pawtucket in 1991 and then Dallas in 1994, Hill has been an excellent addition to every pitching staff he has joined. Last year, Hill had a season ending injury in the preseason and Dallas decided not to resign him. We are definitely happy to have a guy with his talent, added to the staff.

Or maybe you are leading the offer sheet.

It's right there in the free agent center.

I can see clearly that Mississippi is winning the Woodbury race.

Interesting. I wonder if that means the player is close to making a decision?

I have 3 players on the list that have offers from me, but no mention of "interest" from Baltimore.
