Please SUBJECT your PMs as "(TEAM NAME) RULE V LIST". If you have questions or anything for me in PM.... DON'T put them in that PM. I do not open these lists until the moment I'm entering them just in case I choose to participate in the RULE V. I don't want to read anyone's list and be influenced by it.

Might be aggressive, but if teams who aren't participating want to Opt Out (via post) we could potentially run sooner than the AM. I have a feeling that logistically impossible at this point, but want to put the option out.

Again, my list of reminders:
- You must have room on your 40 man to submit a list
- Any injured players are not eligible as they are unable to be moved to the 40 man prior to the draft. This would include guys who were on the 60 day that got dropped off or minor leaguers who are still injured (since minors don't have a 60 day).
- All lists should be PM'd to me with your team name and Rule V list. They will not be opened till 7a (or start of draft)

An Owner PM'd me a question about the whole "injured" thing. He sent me a short list of guys to check on. As an example, Hector Baez in my system is NOT Rule V eligible. He's injured and could not be moved to 40-man.

Well, the rule is the rule across the board...but...come on... I've spent about 60 hours in this game over the last 2 weeks. I've sent the "get your guys protected" post 40 times....I'm not going to miss the #2 guy in my Org. In fact, that's how I do my Rule V protects. As long as my Top 20 is semi-clean... Everyone else is replacable.

I assumed you had overlooked him for a few reasons:

1) you've been overwhelmed with the amount of hrs you've been putting in at the office recently
2) the conversion
3) A bad case of "vacation brain" as you prepare for your family trip.
4) you knew that his ratings are about to be destroyed by a setback

All viable cases. However, with the Woodbury era coming to close, I've been planning my 97 team for two years. Baez is the starting 2B in that equation. His injury last year was the closest I got to resigning Woodbury.
