I can't download the league file from within the game. It's looking for brewers.tar.gz and the league file in the download link in the owners forum is called brewers.lg.tar.gz.

Anyone else have this problem?

Damnit, didn't get a file in. Hopefully I don't screw up this file as it's pretty damn important for Rule V purposes!

OK... I put identical copies of the league file up under both names. Should work. I'll get it squared up for next SIM. We were always under "brewers.lg", but the settings file now seems to be on just "brewers". I'll move to that.

Crap. I was able to export once already, but now I can't get the game to download the league file. Game hangs up. I'll try getting the league file from the web site, but I have a lousy connection, and I don't know if I'll be able to export now.

I tried to move my OOTP 12 files from where I had them and screwed up something. I'll have to try figure it out tonight.

Well, looks like the file from the web site took, and I was able to export. Never a dull moment with Microsoft products. Miss my Mac already.

I tried doing the same and it took me longer than I wanted to clean it up.

Advice: leave it. OOTP 12 likes where it goes and can be a bitch to change directories.

Interesting. Wessin Ramirez wins the IL DWI at 1B. Never thought of him as anything other than ordinary there. I think next season has a chance to be a real breakout year for him.

The 40 man roster juggling actually provided 1 or 2 "tough" decisions. No one necessarily that I'm worried about losing is being left off, but a couple of guys that I "like" (organizational guys that I've been rooting for over the past few seasons) are being left unprotected.

Probably doesn't hurt that there are some IL 1Bs that are just awful defensively but start because of their bats and the whole no pussy DH thing. He's a nice player though. He was the AI pick for New Brew.

When I enter the Awards, I just have the AI fill them to get the DWI then alter our awards results. They're ususally pretty close, but your boy Ramirez was the New Brew.
