No, I'm not saying that. I'm just saying my personal level of enjoyment would take a hit without StatsLab.

I don't get the "stuck on 11" stuff like its broken.

We've certainly lived without utilities before. The draft utility would be the major killer.

I know. The threads been torpedoed at this point. Of the 3 votes remaining I see at best one voting for 12. So 11 is here to stay. And dammit we'll always have Stat's Lab!

It's what makes the league so much better than it already was.
The big differences between the two are in the Metrics and Last Sim utilities. OOTPOU doesn't have the career metrics that StatsLab does. Things like the filterable leaderboards, draft history, park factors, and the additional player stats like Win Shares, OPS+, ERA+, etc. Newer versions of OOTP may have some of the additional stats but not sure. And you would only be able to filter the stats in game, not on the website.

For last sim OOTPOU has the basics but doesn't have the stat of the day, sim preview, playoffs preview, milestones, etc.

So basically, we're forgoing improvements made to the core game mechanics that provide the basis for this entire league, in favor of window dressing like stat of the day and filterable leaderboards. Is that correct? I just want to be very clear about the choice we're making here.

I voted yes to upgrade. Just saying I'm not enthused by losing StatsLab.

If Brad or LC vote "Yes", we'll convert. If we have 17, I'll vote "Yes" to give the majority the direction they want.

Look, I fully recognize that I screwed up. I dropped the ball. I should have converted last off-season and tested. I screwed up. This info (e.g. Utilities) should have been known 3 months ago.

It doesn't look like it, but StatsLab also didn't help so doesn't matter to me.

Also, since you didn't ask: what I really wants StatsLab or any utility to do is allow me to filter stats from one year to the next. So, I could for example find out who hit the most home runs from 1982-1985.

Without that ability to filter stats in that way, I am unable to do some things like choose an All-Decade Team based on a particular stat or find out who had the highest OPS in a three-year period for every season of the 80s (since the book is specifically designed to cover the 80s).

I expect better from you, Jake. I was joking. Actually, I was referencing a stupid ESPN Poll in which Jeremy Lin beat out Derek Jeter and then Mariano Rivera (in the finals) as the most impactful NY athlete.

Well the positive thing is even if we don't meet 75%, the people who voted No wouldn't drop out if we move to 12, so I say that makes it 100%.

What you need is a SQL dump and just throw it in your own database. You could come up with everything you need from that fairly easily.
