I think only one season I didn't vote for him, but if he doesnt win GM of the year I don't know who deserves it.

His roster is.......monkey spunk yet somehow he turned this rag tag bunch of players into a wildcard winner. Wow, BEST JOB EVER. Lol, you even had nine players cold going down the stretch!

Congrats to Washington and shame on the rest of IL non-playoff teams for allowing Dr. "Smoke & Mirrors" to pull yet another rabbit out of his hat.

Again, he doesnt win it this award means nothing.

Those last couple of weeks were exactly what we needed to have a successful season. Getting this team off the ground was a huge concern at the start because we just couldn't make a deal happen. But once the first one happened they starting falling like dominoes. All in all we had a fun year. I'm looking forward to seeing how these playoffs turn out. Does Dallas have a shot against Pitt with Negron still out? Will the LOS bullpen continue to stymie teams? Tons of questions about to be answered!

100 wins. No injuries. That's all I was hoping for. We've done everything I wanted this team to do, anything from here on is just gravy.

Oh, we're better than the Bats. Does that mean we'll win? Maybe not, but we should.

3-3 in our last six games. Home teams taking each series.

I don't care about regular season records too much. I just look at our two teams and I think that I'd rather have mine.

Not that that has anything to do with winning of course, just a neat observation.
I know this probably qualifies as being nerdy, or maybe stupid, but I'm psyched that we won a division and made the playoffs on a player payroll of $66M. And actually, a couple million bucks went to the minor leagues.

Aaaand... I just noticed we set franchise records for attendance and Team ERA this season. I know my bullpen is largely responsible for the ERA, but it still was a nice surprise.

                          Good luck to Hartford.

Let's go Piggies... "Thar she blows!"
