RJ Curtis is a boss. Finishes first among all BLB pitchers in wins, K's and VORP and ties his season off by winning pitcher of the month honors for September. I know everyone is on the Dimmick bandwagon for taking Dallas to the playoffs, but what Curtis did on a 75-win team is incredible.

One game back.
Damnit.
After starting the week 5-1, we dropped the final game that could have forced a tiebreaker.
A 13 inning heartbreaker.
Sigh.

Got to hand it to Sergio Bela.
I signed him for 430 K this winter while he was recovering from Tommy John.

We can talk relocation after 3 seasons... But relocating a team with a title may cause an uproar. ;). Just so you know, your location really has no impact on anything tangible in your team. The Great One!

Speaking of history... 1997 will mark the 20th BLB Season. Crazy.
Injuries were a bitch this year.
We had only one position player start 135 or more games for us.
Memmoli didn't get it done either. He won Refreshing New Brew last year, but regressed to a .728 OPS this year at first base despite his ratings making a nice improvement.
And one thing I really didn't see coming was Bollati giving up 31 bombs this year, despite the fact that he gave up only 12 last year and his groundball rate actually went up to the highest it's been since 1989.Maine Guides

Our markets were never in sync with reality anyway. Example: Williamsburg, VA - Large Market, Chicago, IL - Small Market. The Great One!
