As hot as Washington has been, I don't see them continuing the run into October once the rosters are cut back to 25 (if they get past Morgantown). Carolina will probably break out the broom there.

Batavia has just enough offense to get into the late innings unscathed and at that point, they are one of the best in the league. Also, they get Tanner back, but I'd be worried that he'll come with extra rust. I'm not too sure their starters will be able to contain VA or CAR offenses, but they always play VA tough so it should be a pretty good series if it comes to that. Luckily for Matt, Kirby went ahead and got injured ahead of time so he can't accidentally drop the ball in the playoffs this year. Unfortunately for Matt, I don't think they matchup well with Carolina.

In the end I've got VIR v. CAR, Carolina shocks everyone and pulls through in 6.

I don't follow the DL enough to know, but just looking at stats, Dallas looks like they could be very dangerous in the playoffs with a 3-man rotation, Kinsey and Steady.

Like I said above, I could see DC flopping this final week. But, there is always a first round upset and I think my team is on a good run. Finally playing with some continuity. I also finally for the first time all season, feel comfortable with four of my SP.

I think Jenkins had an amazing playoff run last year if I remember correctly. You'll need another one of those types of performances to get past both Batavia and Carolina.

Right now, I think Hartford can beat anyone in the DL without Durham and Sau, except for Pittsburgh. Getting Fitz back makes them a pretty tough team to contend with.

Without injuries, Hartford and Batavia would be in the conversation for the Cup but I think they are just too thin for the long haul. I'm going Pitt v Carolina, and Carolina get their 2nd in 7 games.

Matt and I should combine rosters. The players just on the DL more than a 2 weeks this season could beat anyone in the league.

              We're counting on it.

Jenkins is getting bumped up to #2 for the playoffs. Morgan down to 3 (he just dropped from 6 to 15 on Top Player presumedly by performance). The 3 man rotation just isn't doable in Round 1 so the choice is between Kim and Legere for #4. Legere was great and could get some Pale Ale run, but Kim is a competent lefty (something we lack). Not going to tip my hand, but my history should easily solve that question of the way I'll go.

Offensively (and defensively), the Gill injury hurts bad. Rumors out of Williamsburg is that Anastasio Colon will go back to LF (where he got some run last season), Woodbury back to RF, and soft-hitting Anibal Roman will start at 2B.
Went to 7 vs Batavia last season with a much better team. This series scares me more than any potential ILCS or Brewmaster's matchup. If Pancho gets his groove back after a questionable SEP and Logo stays hot - we have a puncher's chance.

I'll be shocked if it doesn't go 7.

Sometimes it appears you answer these things without actually reading them.

believed is past tense and means you think I'm talking about the season... Im referencing the future (postseason), that three of my starters wont be able to play in the series against a danderous Dallas team.

Spend some extra time on the file this week LC. The Bats are feeling confident.

I think I'm good to go as well. My rotation is completely rested, but I've got some tough decisions to make on that front. Vazquez has been my best guy, but beyond him depth is my strength, not top end ability. It's not that I don't have options, but obviously I don't need six starters in a playoff series and a couple guys will head to the pen.

I like my lineup. We've got that going for us, but your team can score some runs as well.
