I can't help it if people said they didn't want to trade them and then in-season months later did anyway without inquiring.
Clay thinks no one wants to trade with him. I feel the same way brother.
But now I'm not trading with anyone no matter what. It's done.
The only way Denver is acquiring players is via draft or free agency.Denver Bulls

Signed RJ Curtis to what I feel is a very reasonable contract extension. You know, the guy with higher VORP, more wins, and more K's than this Dimmick bitch.
Prediction: Curtis will tear his labrum within the next two sims.SIN CITY GAMBLERS since 1990

I like my pitching. Guzman has stepped up and is scorching hot the last 5 weeks. RaGo, Lindsey and JJG have been steadily great all year. Rangel and Marrero have come in as Sept rookies and done just fine so far. My pen (Aaron, B-Rod, Ching, Anaya, Godron) is one of the best in the league.
I love getting Castor this season - Team MVPish. Abe "Venezuelan Lincoln" Hernandez is back. The Wheelchair Bench Gang (George, Newlin, Wallace) will just have to be the BLB vets they've been since forever.
It'll come down to the last day yet again. If we do make the playoffs, the stars will be back throughout the playoff rounds for a nice boost.
There's a lot to be positive about (3rd best record) despite all the bullshit injuries. If it wasn't the Ale, we would have been able to shut it down weeks ago and cruise into October.
We'll just cross our fingers and hope we're lucky and the sim let's us win out.Death Valley Scorpions (2003-Present)

Carolina Tobs: 4-2 this week
95-54 overall, Bock Division Champions
2-1 vs Wilmington
2-1 at California
Solid week. When our bats showed up, we won. In the two games they got shut down, we didn't. I think we've secured the second seed in the IL at the least, with still a slim hope of catching Virginia. Though I guess if Washington wins the Wildcard, the matchups would be the same either way. We're creeping towards 100 wins and though I didn't expect to get that, I'd like to see it now.
The Good
-Ivan Vazquez looks like he's going to be my #1 pitcher come time for playoffs. He was really good again this week. He pitched 10 innings of shutout ball against Wilmington, but we couldn't scratch a run across for him to get the win. He went 8 2/3 of the way through a no-hitter in that game before surrendering back to back singles with 2 outs in the ninth. In his second start, we gave him plenty of support and he picked up win #16.
-Ismael Reyes looks like he's heating back up. Just an inconsistent hitter, but when he's hot he carries us. He's got an outside shot at the BLB RBI record if he can string together another good couple of weeks. Reyes leads the IL HR race by 4 and the RBI race by 23. He hit 3 HRs against California on September 21st. It was our first 3-HR game since 1988, when John Harbison did it. I don't remember him playing for my team.
-Adrian Romero is having his best month of the season.
-We only gave up 12 runs in our 6 games this week.
The Bad
-We lost two games in extra innings and scored only just one run in 23 innings in those games. We scored 37 runs in the other 4 games, all wins. I'm not going to complain too loudly about my lineup, but those two games were ugly.
Coming Up
-We finish off our home season with 3 against Philadelphia followed by a series against Los Alamos. Manny Mendez and Jose Guzman both come off the DL this week.Washington Bats, 2013-
