Question - Rule 5

At what point can I send a RULE 5 pick down to AAA? I know they have to stay on your ACTIVE ROSTER for the entire season, but at what point after that can they go back down. In other words, the guy I took last year, am I safe to send him down now? Do I have to wait till Jan 1? Spring Training?

You should be able to send him down as soon as the regular season ends.
