    Another Thursday...

Sure we only have to kill a few hours before Tourny tips off...but there's something.

    Let's go big picture.

What types of improvements would you like to see in the BLB?

    Examples:
    - Expanded playoffs
    - League Expansion
    - DH Rule
    - Lower injury settings

I know Rookie League is always on the table, but I keep coming back to the benefit versus the logistics (ghosts, etc).
    The Great One!

    To many rings to count...

Playoff = good. Its truly a challenge in this league to string together mutliple years. No reason to water it down.

Expansion = Yes, 4 teams. Just from being in other leagues, we seem a bit top rating heavy though I confess this is my only 2-8 league.

DH Rule= Thats honestly up to the IL owners. Like it in the DH.

Lower Injury setting= As much as I gripe and bitch its probably not to off compared to the real world. Maybe a "notch" down will be better. I think its more of the way a major injury (Pitchers) are handled in this version. Seems a ton of pitchers don't recover.

Rookie League= Again sure, but we better have some tight controls on the age (or even league exp) in order to play here.

No to expansion unless you had 2-4 owners that were committed? Andrew is the only one I count.

I think the handling of options needs to be managed better in this league. Still don't like that it can be abused.

To me it's rookie league, and while I was at one time against ghost players, I don't feel the same way anymore.

I have a ton of guys that go on the minor league DL each year - and it's a slippery slope. If you lose a guy or two in one sim - now you have to wait until the next sim at the minimum to have a newly signed guy on the roster. Inevitably in that one sim, other guys get overworked and it leads to more injuries, which leads to more signings, etc, etc.

I don't get why it would be bad to have ghost players on for those times your AA team gets down to 23, 22 players. You can still carry 25 guys.

I was gonna hate on you before I read the post but I actually agree with you here.

I frequently wish there was less cash flying around the league. Ironically, those feelings have only grown since my market size has increased. Again, I know I'm in the extreme minority, but I enjoy managing the money part of the game.

I wouldn't change anything. League is very healthy. And a DH in the IL? Puke.
