When can a player become a free agent (for BLB purposes)? Is it after 6 years of major league service time or 6 years of professional time? I think it's 6 years of major league but just want to make sure.
Yes, correct, six years of major league service time for major league players. There are also rules that allow minor leaguers to become free agents as well, but I do not understand these.
