Was manhandled by Carolina then took 2 of 3 from my hometown. Losing record and still in 1st place?

Terrible sim. Tons of problems and plenty of questions. We will take the change of scenery sim with a grain of salt. The players we replaced were far worse than the ones we added. I still have the following issues.

          1) I acquired SP Noel Bottiglieri - AAA, I found him in A
          2) I acquired MR Dave Chernesky - A, I found him in AAA
          3) I didn't find the presim with Pawtucket vague at all. But I guess its up to interpretation. 6M.... 2years....3M each year.
          4) Both of my pitchers I acquired still say they are unhappy about their team performance. I am assuming this changes after a sim? I didn't have these same problems when I traded for Torres and McKormick.

1/2) If you don't tell me exactly where to put them, they go where they go.
            3) Presim instructions must be specific. You can't say apply cash to year x and year y without telling me how much. I'm not a mind reader and I don't make assumptions. I don't run your team, you do.
            4) Every player is different. There is no set formula for if and when it will change. "Mood" ratings are a -5000 to +5000 range. Depending on where they are, it could take months to move the needle.

            Bottomline...

You either need to be very specific.... Or you need to do Post SIM trades. Pre-Sims are a perk to Owners.

              Pawtucket 5-2.

Just keep plugging along. Lefties no longer seem to scare us hitting wise, we still can't pitch though. The bright side, we might of found our long RP.

Not even at the 100 game mark so long ways to go, BUT next 2 weeks are pretty important.

We have to start pitching better. It's just ugly right now.

You do not fool me 5-2 week. Thank you men for improving your trade value. Especially you and you. And even you too.

The hardline approach is fine. But when no pre-sim instructions were provided, in past cases, players where placed in DFA. That was what I expected. Someone with my extensive BLB experience should know better. Post-Sim is apparently the way to go.

                      Carolina Tobs- 4-3 this week
                      56-35 overall (1st in Bock)

                      0-1 @ Washington (lost series 2-1)
                      3-0 @ Baltimore
                      1-2 vs Batavia

                      The Good

-Our lineup was awesome this week, scoring 53 runs in 7 games. We were held under 5 only once.

-Al Hamilton won IL Player of the Week for the second time in his career. He hit .424 with 3 HRs, 11 RBI and 9 runs scored. He's up to 18 homeruns on the season, a career high. I thought he would grow into some power and he's certainly doing that so far.

-Ismael Reyes may be waking up. I said that a couple sims ago, but hopefully it's true this time. He had a big week, launching 5 HRs and driving in 10 runs. He pulled back into a tie with Superman on Virginia for the IL lead in RBI. He still hasn't had a very good season so far, but he's gotten a ton of ABs with runners on base.

                      The Bad

-We simply can't pitch right now. We scored enough runs to realistically go 6-1 this sim, and we lost 3. Our pitching allowed 47 runs, the most in the league. I'm pretty sure we entered July with the least number of runs allowed in the IL. So far this month, we've given up 101 runs in 15 games. It's a miracle we're even treading water at the moment. I'm shuffling some things around this week.

-Joe Reyes continues to suck. It's nothing new, but I hate "Joe Reyes" and have since about 1979.

                      Coming Up

-Seven more games this week, as we continue our longest stretch of the year without a break. Three vs California followed by four at Los Alamos.

-Kip Higgins returns to the lineup this week. Hopefully his glove helps us get someone out.

Yea Reyes and Hamilton just destroyed us over and over again. It was very humbling to watch.

If all levels are full they default to DFA. I didn't place them in the places you found them... that's where they went. I don't touch a player if there isn't an instruction. It's not a hardline thing. It's not personal. I don't mess with what I don't need to.

4-3 for the Clowns this week. I think this is the first week the offense actually showed up in force, OPS'ing .859 for the week. That pitching though...

Carlos Bamentos has been a great pickup for us, currently sitting with a .283/.350/.575 triple slash line. He'd be a really great pickup for some team looking for a solid OF'er. Just sayin'...
