Anyone ever have a player change position?

Wouters was moved to 1B prior to this last sim and I had to move him back to RF. As in someone was interested in trading for him and wanted to see his IF ratings so they changed him to 1B and forgot to move him back.

Do I have to change my password?

Did you use any of the "Manager Suggested" lineups or depth chart? If you do, the AI will change them.

Al Hamilton got switched from RF to LF. I don't remember doing that, I don't know any reason I would. I make the lineups myself on the BLB level. None of those had changed, just his listed position.

Hmmmm... I've had to change mine back (usually moving Woodbury back to LF from CF), but I always assumed it was because every few sims I'll have Manager pick my lineup just to see how his lineup differs from mine.

            Anyone check the OOTP forums?

Come to think of it, Rex was changed to LF a couple of sims ago.

I didn't think much of it, so I didn't mention it. Still don't think it's anything.

As for someone changing a position to see infield ratings? Anyone can see those just be clicking on the ratings tab. No need to change anything to accomplish that.

Back to this sim- nothing much to talk about with only 2 games. Down on the farm, Jonathan Burns set the AA The Mash record by striking out 15 hitters (in 6.1 IP). Jerry Brown went 15/28 and won Player of the Week. He seems to have his feet solidly under him now.

I also notice that the three players mentioned changing positions- Hamilton, Wouters and Knight- were all IL All-Stars. The AI might have changed the positions when making the depth chart for that team.

The above makes a lot of sense. So much sense I hereby declare this care closed.

2-0 sim against the clowns starts 23 straight 19 of which are on the road. This stretch will tell us a lot about our team. Silver lining? Fitz should be back the series after this road trip.

Victor Alvarez while not a great defender at catcher has filled our biggest need at the start of the season. Alvarez is hitting .300/.431/.500 with 30 RBI, 7 HR's, 34 BB's and only 17 K's in 50 games.

Good call. Wouters did play 1B in the All-Star Game.

Thank goodness! Here I thought Prez had just broken my password (Gag Ball) and was exporting for me (thus the reason I was doing crappy).

Good to know I was doing crappy on my own account.

                                Division rival profiling.

I know it's not Brad because he would have traded my players away already. And Linty would have sent my starters back to AAA.
