    C- Eron "Pistol" Deleon

    Stats- .325/.439/.574 (1.013 OPS), 11 HR, 48 RBI, 31 R, 39 BB, 21 K, 30.2 VORP

Deleon is having a huge year in his second season in the BLB. His name shows up at the top of the leaderboard for most categories amongst IL catchers. He actually plays catcher everyday.

    RF Al Hamilton

    Stats- .333/.441/.517 (.958 OPS), 10 HR, 38 RBI, 43 BB, 45 BB, 14 K, 30.3 VORP

Our star outfielder is doing it all at the plate again this season, showing more power than he did last year. He leads IL RFs in VORP, OBP, OPS & wOBA. He is also having a great year with the glove, leading right fielders in Zone Rating and Defensive Efficiency.

    RP Raul Frayo

    Stats- 29 appearances, 0.61 ERA, 0.78 WHIP, 23:5 K:BB, 683 ERA+, 14.9 VORP.

He's been our shutdown man in the bullpen after moving from the rotation this year. He leads IL relievers in ERA, is 2nd in VORP and WHIP.

    SP Manny Mendez

    Stats- 6-4, 2.81 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 41 K, 14 BB, 149 ERA+, 16.5 VORP

He's had a couple rocky starts, but he's been very good in our rotation. Mendez is second in the IL in WHIP and has thrown a no-hitter.

      -Deserving of Votes-

      1B Mike Murdock - .292/.370/.521/.891 OPS
Hitting very well this season and is also a very solid defender of the position. Unless he has a huge week, will probably be 2nd in voting for 1B, and will be at the mercy of the IL Managers.

      OF Marv Bowers - .308/.366/.485/.850 OPS, 28 SB, 52 R, 43 RBI
One of the best leadoff hitters in baseball. With Daly hurt, I think Bowers is worthy of a top three vote.

SP Pat Daniels -4-2, 1.95 ERA, 1.09 WHIP
      Award him. He's earned it.

RP Edgar Salazar -4-1, 2.25 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 48 IP
Not a closer, but his value is huge.

      -Manager Selections-

      C/LF/1B Tyrone Abbott -.353/.409/.616/.1.025 OPS
Not sure what position he will be elected at, probably OF, but this guy is going to the All-Star game.

      C/LF/1B Artie Walker -.339/.396/.546/.942 OPS
      See above. Repeat.

      RP Clarence Ortiz - 3-0, 11 SV, 2.08 ERA, .92 WHIP
Close call but might deserve an All-Star game appearance.
      Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
      Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

        -Deserving of Votes-

OF-Rex Knight - .412/.508/.837/1.345 OPS (since joining the IL)
If there was an MVP award, he would be neck and neck with Chavez right now.

OF Brad Cherry - .358/.390/.497/.887 OPS
With Daly gone its open season for an outfield position. Cherry is one of the most reliable leadoff hitters in the league this years.

        IF Johnny Buzzell - .280/.413/.509
-If Maeda doesn't have career #'s he's a starter. Arguably the best 38+ year old hitter in the league right now. Deserves a spot, make it happen.

        CL Danny Rodriquez - 2.10 ERA, 11 SV, 34K, 30 IP
-Didn't give up an earned run in two full months of play.

          C - Anibal Calderon - .347/.476/.513/.989

1st in wOBA for C in IL
1st in AVG for C in IL
1st in OBP for C in IL
          1st in H for C in IL
1st in BB for C in IL
2nd in SLG for C in IL
2nd in OPS for C in IL
2nd in VORP for C in IL
          2nd in R for C in IL
          2nd in 2B for C in IL
3rd in RBI for C in IL

Calderon is my only player even worthy of an All-Star mention. While he doesn't play on a good team like Delecon, I'd argue that the stats show that Calderon has had the better season. Either way, can't go wrong with either guy... but really, who wants to deprive the California fans a chance to have an All-Star to cheer for?

I'm not sure who is going to be qualified or not but here goes.

OF Johnathon Morris - .426/.500/.716 with 6 HR and 33 RBI
May not have the power of most candidates but he is really starting to fill out with 5 HR since his return from a 3 week injury.

OF Kel Brown - .292/.392/.547 with 15 HR and 47 RBI
His return to LA has been nothing short of spectacular. When Morris went down he literally carried the team hitting.

SP Alex Torres - Has a combined 5-1 record and currently leads the league in ERA. He has shown he is an elite power pitcher who's transition to the DL has been seamless.

RP Doug Jones - If you are looking for K's, don't bother. But Doug has been as good as they come. His 1.30 ERA is 4th overall in the DL (for relievers) and his WHIP at 0.95 ranks him third. The difference is this kid has done it for almost 50 innings! Closer? Probably not. But a proven lockdown setup man with the numbers to boot? Yes!

Whoever threw Dane Browning a bone, much appreciated. He's easily been the best player on our roster.

Not me but I might when I vote five minutes prior to the deadline.

Still waiting for someone to list Denver as a team everyone is waiting on to vote.

If you didn't see it the first time:

                      OF Brad Cherry - .356/.399/.515/.919

The most consistent lead-off hitter in the IL right now.

Do the right thing with your manager's votes.

Maeda is hitting leadoff right now for us... so that's two Colonial leadoff hitters in a row that he's not hitting better than.

                          1. Guys sitting at home with an arm in a sling don't count.
                          2. Maeda isn't hitting better than he is as a lead-off hitter.
                          3. I said most consistent and .356 is more consistent than .304 (Maeda avg. hitting top of the order).
