Some prominent names aren't showing up in the utility. I would assume it's because they are splitting time between two positions.

        Yes.

Maeda, for example, 31 G at 3B and 30 G at 1B would be the starter in the IL at either position, but will instead go in as a Manager's Pick.

          I'm voting against him.

And how about Pitt and their entire All-Star infield.

Yeah, Pat has finally built the team he's always dreamed of.

In case anyone cares, the rule is 4.5 innings per team game at a position for qualification.

So, again, using Maeda as an example, he'd need 288 innings at a position to qualify. He's played just over 270 at both 1B and 3B.

Also, making an executive decision here....

Since the game doesn't see any difference between Starters and Manager picks.... I'm just going to let the AI pick the lineups after I dump the players in.

Whenever I try to manually set the lineups, it totally screws up the AI Substitution and some guys end up playing the entire game. I'd just rather see the sub system working correctly verses the "right" guys starting versus coming off the bench.

Again, the game doesn't see "starters" and "reserves" so the bump is the same.

P.S. Danny Nelson, Wilton Harcourt and Jimmy O'Loughlin will be throwing out the ceremonial 1st pitches at the game.

How do we handle Jerry Daly?

Do we vote for him as if he's not injured, and then you two pick an extra guy, or do we not vote for him as he can't be in the game anyways?

I think every owner has to make that decision. We've stopped choosing replacements a few years ago for injured players, so if he's voted in we won't take a 29th player.

I'll vote for him (shocker) but its not cause he's mine. If he deserves it based on his 1st half, he gets my vote. I'd do the same for a player on another team. Daly is a unique case because he doesn't "need" the nod as much as a younger player might...I just choose to keep a level gauge.

But, again, every owner has to make that decision.

Thank you for noticing that Frank Tufts is incorrectly listed as a DH on the ballot because the utility is dumb.

So Samuel leads the DL in batting average and he's not even on the list.

I know he's on the DL, but he's coming back next week. Should be on the list. How can we put him on the list?

Doesn't have the innings. You're a DL manager, sounds like you need to work on Hartford.

Found him in "DH". Yeah, I'll talk to my buddy. He's the DL leader in average so he does have the min innings.

                            My bad.

I'm nearly 100% certain that a guy who wins the DH vote has made the team every season. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
