I agree with Jistic and Pat...and Skerik. Players don't get better and hurt less over time. There is something in the water and everyone is expandable in Batavia because what's the point (because we all suck as owners).

And how many version changes did we have over the course of these seasons AND how do we know OSA hasn't changed the way they view players?

....oh.... and just looking at Woodbury....

              Woodbury, Age 39 - OSA Actual 7-6-7

Why would it be so crazy that his EYE would improve? Zamirda and Buzzel's eye improved. His power went down. 30 to 35 isn't a great comparison because guys don't hit their prime till 32-33.

And again... to further bring my ever resounding point... Woodbury is the only guy on that list consistently playing for winners on that list. Shitty played on good teams and he hasn't regressed.

FWIW, the Maine and Virginia dynasties haven't made the game less interesting for me. But I've often wondered if somewhere deep in OOTP's code a switch is occasionally thrown that can help to make an organization a dynasty, or snake-bit. I think our teams are a product of both genetics (OOTP code) and environment (owner/GM decisions).

BTW... 13 - 6 means we're off to another fast start. If history repeats itself, we'll be sucking pond water in May and June. But, what the hell... Go! Pigs! Go! (with apologies to my brothers in Toronto).

Is it normal for players skin color to change? I had a Guatemalan player who was brown and was 8-4-5 potenial rating change skin colors to white and dropped to 5-4-4 potenial on the same rescout... normal?

New image pack can do that sometimes.

Tommy Lang was once a white man. True story.

A lot of the prospects who were "born" from old players had "frozen images" that would never update unless I force generated new pictures. Once I do it, they'll forever update as they move through levels.

However, this had no impact on his ratings.

I assumed it did not. It just really suprised me when I saw the guys picture and then saw the ratings.

I don't know about what caused the color change, but in light of his change in color, the ratings drop is perfectly explainable.
