I agree with Jistic and Pat...and Skerik. Players don't get better and hurt less over time. There is something in the water and everyone is expandable in Batavia because what's the point (because we all suck as owners).

....oh.... and just looking at Woodbury....

Why would it be so crazy that his EYE would improve? Zamirda and Buzzel's eye improved. His power went down. 30 to 35 isn't a great comparison because guys don't hit their prime till 32-33.
And again... to further bring my ever resounding point... Woodbury is the only guy on that list consistently playing for winners on that list. Shitty played on good teams and he hasn't regressed. The Great One!

FWIW, the Maine and Virginia dynasties haven't made the game less interesting for me. But I've often wondered if somewhere deep in OOTP's code a switch is occasionally thrown that can help to make an organization a dynasty, or snake-bit. I think our teams are a product of both genetics (OOTP code) and environment (owner/GM decisions).
BTW... 13 - 6 means we're off to another fast start. If history repeats itself, we'll be sucking pond water in May and June. But, what the hell... Go! Pigs! Go! (with apologies to my brothers in Toronto).
