Was Hobbs a Top Prospect before I traded for him?

All the way up to #26 this week. I don't recall him even being ranked last week.

He should be, but you're right I haven't seen him on the top 100 and was always surprised. I was high on him since his amateur days. He seemed to be an overlooked player in that trade for some reason.

As usual another sim another injury. Another round of one loss games. Be sure to check the trade block some good players will be available shortly....

Good sim for us. Dropped two of three at Hartford, but swept Pawtucket in four games. And Chamissa re-signed to a very team-friendly four-year deal.

And we're now tied for first with Hartford.

Don't worry. With his contact moving back up to an 8 Chavez is picking up the slack. They'll be ok. No need to burn your jersey just yet.

I'm blowing it up. Make me a fair offer and folks are leaving town. ASAP. I know it sounds like lip service, but you snooze you lose. I'm moving All-Stars before next SIM.

This is honestly a slap in the face of this great league.

"I'm so good I have to blow it up to give everyone else a chance." It's even worse than the constant bragging (even if it's in jest like you say). Number 1 team, number 1 farm system, 18-1...if you have to blow it up to let others win then sadly the BLB has become a joke.

If this game really heavily favors the commish this much then it's time for a neutral party to keep this league going.

I feel like the league has lost a ton of momentum and feel VERY strongly that its because people feel like they're playing for 2nd place. If I'm wrong, fine, I'll stay the course. But, I don't think I am.

And, now, for the 46,521st time, there is ZERO connection between my team and being Commish. I handle my team under MY login. I handle Commish activities through GW. The game doesn't see Virginia as mine anymore than the other 23 teams.

I don't want this league to die. So you guys tell me what has to happen to get interest back up?

For the record, I'm not saying this out of the blue. More than one owner has brought this to me.

Correct. He has never been ranked. Ever. The very second he is traded he storms onto the ranks? Definitely says something about the Dino's ability to develop pitchers. This is not a case of pitching coaches either. I've hired the best available every year.

Everybody chill on the best for the league front.

Less bravado would be welcomed... but that's not what is causing less participation. Hard to keep a league running for as many years as we have without seeing some lulls in ownership participation.

IMO there does look like something is wrong. Just looking unscientifically I don't see any cases of player development even close to Virginia's. I'm speaking about potential ratings increases. Even our leagues brightest stars not on Virginia are up maybe 1 to 2 points total from their draft day potential. There are multiple cases of these players gaining 3,4,5 points overall on one team. I may have missed some so take this with a grain of salt.

Even Doorbell I feel if he were on any other team would be all 5's right now. Yet from an OSA standpoint he's getting better at 39.

There is also the injury issue. Every team in the league has injuries to deal with year in and year out except VA. It doesn't matter how you strategize in this game over the course of 3-4 years EVERY team is gonna get hit with some big injuries.

Shit just doesn't add up, so yes it does hurt the league IMO. My team sucks right now so it's not stopping me from a run of glory but I feel bad for the contending teams out there.
