No different than giving my opinion on completed trades, except the timing.
The issue IS the timing. Because the "pre-comment" only happens to me.

You guys can call it boo-hooing or a need to "get over myself"... but I don't do it to anyone else. I reserve comments and opinions till things are done.

    • How many other people have thrown serious offers (assuming this one is real) out to the masses? I'll give my opinion on public trade talks if other people start making them.

I'm not making anyone take my side. Someone else might like that offer, and if so they should go for it. I just wouldn't.

      • Enough Clay bashing guys.

After much debate, I went with the 'safe' pick in closer CJ Yount. 767. Leader. No injuries. Dominant stats.

I like two other hitters and two other SPs but they each had multiple question marks that I didn't want to risk a mid-2nd on.

I feel like this is why we have private messaging. How are you planning on c-blocking all my deals that I discuss in private? Further, how would anyone have c-blocked your deal had you not discussed it in this thread?

I fully expect people to comment on any trade discussions I have in public.

If I was seriously thought anyone "in the next couple picks" was going to take that deal, I would have taken it to them directly. The initial offer was to make the minors joke on Diesel. Ended up doing the joke privately instead. The next couple picks were Dallas (who will end up being AUTO'd) and Brad (who I knew didn't want them).

However, I disagree with your stance. A Trade Block is the same thing as a public offer. If we're going to start going into eachothers trade blocks to start breaking down how owner should be kicked out of the league for taking these guys, then that's why we've become.

              • Challenge accepted.

BTW - I like that pick Diesel. I think he's the best of the CL's that have gone.

I think you've got material for the Virginia Bounce's second verse.

                  • I like Yount as well. I've got Gomez as the top closer on the board, but Yount might be right behind him. Pantilimon will help sooner, but if Yount hits his potential he could be a stud. With Ballos, Muenks and Gruell also gone, that takes all of the elite RP prospects off my board.

Hopefully our Texas connection (BradZ) can help us out there.

                            • We could always just trade this pick to me. We'll work out the details later.
