Took a luxury pick here.
Jamie Hoffman (2B) out of HS.
Don't love his makeup and his injury history is a little spotty. But great intangibles. He'll be Top 75 from jumpstreet. I expect to see him as a piece in a future trade. The Great One!

Since Vaccarella fell to Carolina the pick before us, we went with OF Robby Culler, an 18 year old HS pick.
Have him as an average contact hitter, with average power, slightly below average eye but solid extra base power. Covers decent ground in the OF.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

I also really like the Gomez pick. He was the second best player in the draft, in terms of raw potential, according to my scout.SIN CITY GAMBLERS since 1990

I'm somewhat surprised that Gomez was still on the board, I nearly picked him. I actually thought about it when I was up at #14. Awesome reliever potential. Just dominant ratings. I just didn't want to pick a reliever.
As it is, I kind of wish I had just taken Oshman at 14, but if Baltimore tanks I'll be happy when the next draft gets here.Washington Bats, 2013-
