You guys are brutal. Methinks it's time for an intervention...
Antonio Cardenas is the #3 overall pick.
I had both pitchers taken 1 and 2 considerably lower on my board. Hmmmm.....

Wow, that's a shame that he got auto'd and blew such an important pick.
Oh, wait....that was a real pick? My bad....
You're bad indeed. He was actually #3 overall on my scouts list. Not sure what it means because the first 2 picks were 11 and 17 respectively.

I wanted to go get some more pitching but I couldn't pass on him. Too much potential.
Durable, advanced developmentally, plays a premium defensive position, has speed and runs the bases well. My scout had him #1 overall (not that I necessarily agreed wholeheartedly, but I liked him a lot).
I was surprised that Cardenas went at #3. Made my selection harder than I anticipated (pause).
Bornstein was one of the two ranked higher than Cardenas but I have had a tough time with young infielders so I wanted to get something to plug in there rather than the OF.

I personally had Cardenas ranked just slightly higher for that very reason. My scout thinks Cardenas is super defensively at 3B.
