That's too on the nose. I'd just never let them develop. A catastrophic injury would be too black and white. The quality dick move would to stunt them just enough so every year you're still thinking "this is the breakout season."

I was just wondering if this was the real draft, or like a fake preview pretend draft. I'm all clear now, thanks!

What will be interesting to see is where the injured talent will fall. There are 2 or 3 potential 1st round picks with significant current and past injuries. Can't wait to see where and when these players fall.

Baker and Fisher were easily the two best pitchers in the draft. Nice picks.

Fisher was #1 on my board. BA Top 5 talent.

Baker was in a group behind him, I like him as well. Solid picks, and two guys that hopefully will help sooner than some of the high school guys.

First two picks are assigned in the utility. Los Alamos will be on the clock when we go LIVE.

This got me wondering, and since I'm really bored I went back and checked this stuff. So, the top 5 picks since we started the feeder leagues (1988):
                      Spoiler

Counting this year, it's 13 each from the Cape and Internationals, 11 from the NCAA, 4 from our HS league, and 1 unknown (Merner isn't in the game or the utility anymore).

Merner isn't even on this Earth anymore. He was bumped off mysteriously years ago. The police currently have no leads.

I hope the mystery pops up in Carlos's book.
