After being spurned by Linty in the trade it was time to get real.

Well now 2 more picks have past and the guy I was going to pick at 14 is still there. I actually like him more than any of these last four picks. Despite trading out, now I'm considering trying to get back in. I've got pick 25, other assets if someone is interested.
Someone talk me out of this. I should know by now that I don't know anything about prospects.Washington Bats, 2013-

Let's not let a little forum name change distract us from talking about what a great pick "Tug" Crudge was.
He's everything we look for in pitchers. 17, French-Canadian, pitched against average competition....SIN CITY GAMBLERS since 1990
NEW ORLEANS DUKES since 1993
1998 BLB Champions
2000 BLB Champions

With Crudge off the board we were left with the last one of our targets and took Tom "Demo" Oshman. Another HS player a little concerned his control might be slipping but at 16 we're happy with the pick. That gives us 4 quality SP in the system with 3 likely to be top 100 and Oshman might sneak in to give us 4.WINDY CITY PLAYBOYS

Crudge and Oshman were definitely the two best starters left on the board, imho. I went with Crudge because he is more developed, throws harder, has better stamina, and is French-Canadian.
And as a Phillies fan, I will always jump at the chance to draft anyone with the nickname "Tug."SIN CITY GAMBLERS since 1990

20 Picks IN... and something unprecedented has happened....
One of the columns I keep my draft sheet are "Players I Feel Will Be Top 100 on Draft Day". Just kind of my guesses based on the far too many hours I've spent studying the Top 100 list. Not blowing myself over something this unimportant, but I've gotten quite good at it.
ANYWAY.... I say that to say this.... all 20 of these guys taken so far made my list of Top 100.
I'm seeing 25-27 guys that I feel have immediate Top 100 "makeup".
FWIW - Good job all.The Great One!
To many rings to count...
