Your competition is going to be tough.... if ST is any indication.

He's been sandbagging for years now. It's become a competition between several teams to see who can field the worst BLB team in order to get the top pick.

I honestly know nothing about this.

          Truthfully.

          No, really.

          Nothing.

They use to say this about Freddiewink:

I know its a long shot. Not looking for him to become a stud. Servicable is always good.

We didn't lose one game in ST that we were ahead at any time. Cool stat that means nothing. Also have a few guys that seem to be developing. Let's see how the new manager runs this ship and if late season success last year carries over.

Ouch! If only I could be Baltimore.

Then instead of taking a low budget expansion team to the playoffs 3 times since since signing on in '85, I could have taken the richest and more established ballclub only twice.

                  Fighting words!

Its just like a cop to kick you when you're down.

Money. Its always about the money.

Not the fact that 6 of your first round draft picks are named: Chet Stephens, Tad Crossman, Ivan Cervantes, Barney Kenner, Gil Sanchez, Al Hamilton and your team is named Bustavia.

-My owner expects me to win it all....I'm not surprised, he expects that every year. But come on, man! I haven't been a Championship caliber team since Clay took over as commish, doesn't he know this?

-Signed Antonio Romo to a one year, $2,000,000 deal. Need the power. Need another "OF" after Nago went on the 60-Day-DL. Didn't get any ST at bats, so he will start on the bench as a pinch-hitter, hopefully he can provide some pop in late game situations.

-Just finished framing the 25-man roster. Not super impressive but I thought I would feel a bit more shaky after striking out in Free-Agency. Sacrificing a little defense for offense this year, and the rotation is Tucker+Jenkins and a bunch of AAAA-types, but the bullpen should be top notch yet again and my Triple-A squad, to no one's surprise, is stacked. If I have injuries, I'll have a lot of depth.

Good luck to everyone in 1996.

My New Owner gave me "Make The Playoffs"... he either has lower expectations than his old man... or we're not as good as I think we are.
