We're into the Pre-Season, so the signings tend to come pretty fast. Remember, these SIMs are long so it's very important that you watch your DFAs. I had to release three guys this SIM from teams that didn't clear their DFA and had no room at any Minor League level. All the releases were Minor League Contract guys... but watch them.

The last FA SIM in Wednesday and ST starts Friday. Anything we're going to vote on... let's get it to the polls soon.

I offered McQueen a huge contract. He favored it. I offered him a bigger contract just for the hell of it. He favored it. I tried to offer him an even bigger deal after that, but the game wouldn't let me even though I had an extra $20M in payroll space. Then I have to sit back and watch him sign with Los Angeles for $1M more than I offered.

I'm happy being able to sign Johnston. Needed a player capable of playing some shortstop. Might be slightly overpaid, but sometimes you gotta throw a few dollars to band-aid a hole.

Wow. I expected McQueen to get $6-8, but $10+ is a ton. Still love this guy, but with what you can get in this league for $10, he's cashing in on his name.

Having the "favored deal" before offseason #3 is the kiss of death. Stupid you cannot up your own offer.

Its why I sign a big player about once every 3 seasons tops.

Pawtucket got a nice 2B who hits righties and didnt cost us an arm and a leg.

I got a few things done this sim, so I'm pretty happy with how it went. I didn't get the shortstop I wanted, but hopefully one of the guys I have can do a decent enough job there. I think the rest of my lineup will put up enough runs to survive without getting a ton out of our SS.

I have tried to hire a manager for A Ball the last 3 sims !! No one will sign. Do I just sign some piece of shit or will the game sign one for me. Giving it the college try one more time.
