Maybe so, but STEP 1 in diagnosing a problem is knowing the details involved.

It hasn't worked for seasons. Its sort of like "showing your cards" then alot of times you'll find teams outbidding you at the last second.

Trust me! You cannot counter ur own offer if your "winning the bid".

Unless you did a crazy bid, seems best to either wait before you bid or stalk in second then swoop in.

Truthfully I dont make a ton of offers, but enough to notice a trend.

Just remember when you're giving Manny Mendez and Jayson McQueen $6-9 million... you're also giving me a Type A pick.

                Thanks, Fellas.

Woo Hoo! I think I figured out a way to run OOTP on the road. I might be able to get something done during the off-season for a change.

Even in a stacked draft those picks are a crap shoot. I'll take the trade off.

Well, to be fair you'd get the same draft picks if someone paid them $280k to pitch next season.

Oh, I know. I was saying more about not only are you overpaying (both guys would have resigned for half of what they'll get in FA) but you're also giving me my first sammy picks.

Oh...and FunClown Jr... I don't miss picks. No matter where they fall.

Is this actually fixed in 12? Because it is one of the fucking stupidest things about this game.

Not the point of my comment. I don't care who is drafting or at what order. The odds on a sandwich pick developing into a player like Keppel, Finsley or McQueen are slim to none. So yeah, I would rather have those players than a consolation crapshoot pick, regardless of whether it's the first or last.
