He spent practically all of '94 and '95 in the show, so I'd think '96 would be his last min yr and he'd have been arb eligible starting '97?

I think he would have been potentially SUPER 2, but I think he had at least one more season $280k.

After this season, he'll have 3 full seasons of service time. He'll still make 280k for the 1996 season, but after that he's arb. eligible. The extension covers those 3 years.

'96 will make 3 full years at the BLB level. I'm surprised he missed the cutoff for Super 2 status after this past season.

Smart move. He would of gone 8million, 12 within two seasons.

That Hamilton deal is a steal.

Is he even trade-able at this point? If he continues to play at that level, and most likely exceeds it, what kind of package would it take to get him away from Carolina?

              Great job Liquid.

Does anyone else have this stupid ass problem?

I made an offer to a guy - who countered and wanted x amount more. Even though I have more than enough money to cover that small increase - it acts like I'm offering a whole new contract and won't let me since it's still counting my original offer as a different offer instead of replacing it with my new offer.

Is there a way around this?

                  You're only offering one offer?

That's not important. Here's the example:

I have $20 million to offer for free agents. I offered a guy $10 million dollars a year. Now I want to offer him $11 million a year.

But, the game tells me I only have $10 million more to offer. So even though I should be able to easily fit $11 million into $20, it won't let me make that offer. Because it's still counting the original offer instead of my new offer.

                    Make sense?

Yep, it doesn't "release" your original offered $. It doesn't work correctly.
