No shame in moving up the money list because of actually winning games. You and me didn't even need the bailout money handed out by the league.

In the MLB teams have 5 days post World Series to negotiate with players before other teams have a chance to sign them...and I have no idea what the rule would be for players who were cut by teams. Cutting a player then resigning him would be wrong...going after a player that 24 other teams have access to is fair game.

The issue is this clearly wasn't the case.

            Free Agent Talk?????

Two "TOP PLAYERS" on the market this year.....

Hector Gonzalez (C) and Raul Carillo (SP)....

            I'm going to predict....

Gonzalez lands in Hartford to replace the Colonials Brewmaster's MVP Jared Kirby....

Carillo... I'm going outside the box and say he ends up in Morgantown....

Carillo could go a few places, Morgantown included, but I don't see Hartford going after Gonzalez. I think someone over-pays for him in a big way. I see the LA Dinos, Los Lunas, or Syracuse. If I had to pick one, I'd say Syracuse.

Indy is sandbagging here. They break the bank and get both.

Syracuse is a good call. He can use escalating contracts since the CAP will go away in two seasons and have room to play. I hope he does over pay. A fool with that much money could get ugly. I hope he loads up with bad contracts.

Carillo really is the perfect guy for a team right on the edge on winning. It'd be a shame to see him go to a building team... though I think there's value to a building team sucking a couple season out of him.

Yep, Denver is definitely bidding on Carrillo. Classic move, trying to drive the price down.

We already know he's a fan of aging pitchers, it makes sense really.
