It's a pretty sweet idea. Couldn't we also create an RSS feed from the BLB forum and then have that RSS feed update the Twitter account? It would only Tweet when a new thread is created. Might provide more shelf life if Brad gets sick of updating.

I always wish we had some sort of rumour mill for the BLB. Like knowing ahead of time if maybe a team will nontender somebody or if a team is trying to extend a players contract, etc. I'm a big MLB Trade Rumors.com addict...

You're missing out. We've already quadrupled our follower totals today. At this rate of exponential growth we'll have 10,000+ followers in no time and you'll be left out.

This is hard to do because we are all in competition with each other and most of the time it's not the GMs or owners spilling transaction news to the press.

It would be awesome however if BLB were followed by people that didn't compete. And then you'd open the door to someone wanting to write about the league from an outsider's point of view.

I've purposefully avoided Twitter (and Facebook); but I may cave for @BLBNews. Can @FurryPigs be far behind?

Dude, I've been the same way, but @FN_CLOWN was born tonight. Facebook will probably not be next though. Only because my family and friends have been trying to get me on there for so damn long.

The best part is following everyone and now BLB news is showing up in my news feed in the middle of NHL/NFL/MLB news. In all seriousness - talk about immersion. Ryan Miller to Pat Danford in two lines.
                            Charlotte Knights - OSFL
                            Syracuse Slammers - BLB

I've always just followed people on twitter without my own account, but after tonight, that's all changed. Not sure what that means, really. Sounds pretty menacing though.
