For only the 2nd time in BLB History (92), the Brewer's League will not have a 20-game winner this season. Herrera currently sits at 18, but will start only once this week.

4 - 2 sim, which is good. But we were 1 - 2 against "Nawlens" and still managed to add one game to the lead, which is gooder.

If we hang on to win the division, I'm still going to prep the Los Lunas faithful for a quick departure in the playoffs. This rag-tag rotation won't cut it in October. Although Harrison picked a nice time to get hot.

My early Christmas wish: Ramao Cavadas pulls a Kirk Gibson in the playoffs. The guy's been playing between injuries since the all-star game.

David Vigil donates time and money to local cancer research facility
Sunday, October 1st, 1995: In a news conference today, Myrtle Beach starting pitcher David Vigil has pledged to donate one-tenth of his 1995 salary to the American Cancer Society."I don't do it for the headlines. I do it for the patients and their families that are suffering through surgeries and treatment and recovery. Hopefully one day we can all find a cure and I'm happy to contribute to that goal, knowing that my money will be used for the greater good."
