We somehow took 2 of 3 at Mississippi and 2 of 3 at Pawtucket.

4 games back of Hartford. 2 games back of Pittsburgh for the wild card.

And what do we have left? 3 games at home against Pittsburgh, followed by 4 games at home against Hartford.

        Here we go.

Pawtucket 2-4 on a week we had to win. Like I said a few sims ago just not feeling it with this team. Calling this season over for us.

Congrats to the 3 other teams competing for the two playoffs spots. We will be back next season in pretty good shape with no cap issues and some money to spend.

          Good luck everyone!

Goodness. After an amazing month and a half, we have lost 8 of 12, fallen under .500 and set up Dallas to upset us in the final series of the season.

            No bueno.

Yeah....I don't think it's happening for us this year.

All the pieces should be there for another near-miss next season though, so we've got that going for us.

Clay gets extra brownie points for sweeping Washington.

Hamilton gets hurt at the absolute worst time. Wow.

I'm ripe for a 1st round exit. I've only lost 11 times since late July. I'm due for a cold streak. Maybe we can get it out of the way this week.

When things go south... they go south fast.

Just playing out the string and hoping the best for Lopez.

Ednams doesn't even play this week and makes the top headline with an injury. Oh and Jarava gets hurt too. Awesome!

We won't be beating anyone without Hamilton. First Reyes, now Hamilton down the stretch. I'll be lucky to score any runs period.

If somehow we sneak in (WAS or DAV goes 0-7 or some such nonsense), we'll be out in 4. That "ripe for an upset" Virginia squad looks pretty good right now. 13 wins in a row, 45-10 the past 2 months and healthy as can be. I wish my team could be so vulnerable.
