Thank you to VIR for helping limit Doug Miles IP this year by knocking him out after 1 IP this week. Before the week he was projected to hit 215 IP this year. Now, after his short outing? 208 IP projected. Way to look out for us on that one.

2/3 from Syracuse, 2/3 from Maine....and we remain 2 games behind Los Lunas. It seems that's where we're destined to finish this season because regardless of what happens to either team, that is where we seem to be at the end of each and every sim. I'm just used to seeing "2.0" next to my team's name at this point.

        In other news....

        - Gene Crews is having a very quiet .287/22/97 season.
        - Yoshio Yoshida is having a very quiet 34/37 season on save opps with a 2.64 ERA.
        - Jerry Craig is proving that he's an everyday BLB catcher (.925 OPS this month).
        - Ismael Ramirez has a 0.93 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in his first 9 BLB appearances.
        - Don O'Finegan has been HBP a whopping 28 times, by far the most in the BLB.
        SIN CITY GAMBLERS since 1990
        NEW ORLEANS DUKES since 1993
        1998 BLB Champions
        2000 BLB Champions

A 3-3 week has us still sitting in last place in the Ale, but still within two games of the wild-card.

I have officially changed Toyoshigi Yamauchi's # from 26 to 45 to honor Rob Deer (the Brewer years). Kid added 3 more bombs this week for 31 on the season (tieing his career high). He already ranks 7th on the Colonials all-time HR list. YET....dude still is barely flirting with the Mendoza Line. I'm damn lucky to have the guns to be able to start a .197 guy.

In other news... Pancho finally takes the lead in all 3 Triple Crown cats. A 3rd straight Triple Crown? I feel like I could ask, with a straight face, for 4-5 1st Round picks and prospect(s) for him right now and get it.

Looks like Lopez of Cali has a chance to break Hiraki's record for single season hits.

Also congrats to "Doorbell" for passing Keppel in All-Time HR record.

In baseball history, there have been 38 pitching Triple Crowns, including 8 since 1997.

There have only been 15 hitting triple crowns, including 0 since 1967.

With pitchers, the numbers overlap. High Ks > Low Hits > Low ERA > More Wins

No doubt Pancho is the best we've ever seen. The guy is ridiculous. But I don't think he's worth 5 1sts and some prospects.

                          I bet Carlos does though.

I think 3 1st rounders + prospects is the most I'd pay for anyone. But there isn't any doubt in my mind he's the best ever to date in the BLB.
