  • BLB "What If..." #10

This one is a little more bulky... So feel free to do it in bite-sized pieces.

    SCENARIO:

You've been named the Marketing Director of the BLB effective immediately. Your first assignment is to launch a "Starting Lineup"-esque collection for the BLB.

All 24 teams should get a figure. Player does not have to be on the current roster. The goal is to pick the player that is most associated (or the best rep) with the Franchise.

    Go!
    The Great One!

    To many rings to count...

I have some ideas for poses for the best players in the whole BLB - but I'll let some other people contribute first.

Those are Sportspicks - basically, what replaced starting Line-ups:

I have a bunch of the football ones. They look good with my autographs and memorbilia collection.

Here's a good one for Woodbury:

I have old school Starting Lineups still in the package. Jordan (Rookie), David Robinson (rookie), Canseco, Ricky Henderson.... a few more. My only collectables that I didn't lose in a flood at my Mom's house while I was in college.

I've always connected Big Papi with Dani Alvarez or (to a lesser extent) Joe Sierra in his prime.

Woodbury would be more like this:

I was thinking more the pointing as he rounded the basepaths than his body structure.

Oh... I went Hamilton cause I was thinking more of the drug use... roids.... and escaping the clutches of the team that originally drafted him.

No one really took a crack at the whole league, but I'll give it a try. Division by division:

                          STOUT

                          Virgina - Pancho Herrera (Current)

Washington - Joe Sierra (Legend's Collection)

Wilmington - Caesar Campoveroe (Legend's Collection)

                          Morgantown - Doug Coates (Current)
