The Host feels like they've tracked the issue back to Comcast - which I'm on. If anyone has issues, I'd be interested to know if you're on Comcast.

5-2. 3 games over .500. Suddenly building a somewhat respectable record.

Since July 31st (the day O'Moore came in the first of three veteran pitching acquisitions) Denver is tied with Carolina for second best record in the BLB.

These sprites are making me proud.

Also ¡Ole! went another 5 innings without giving up a run. He's surrendered just 4 runs in the past 33 appearances.

Since July 31st (the day I decided not to take the terrible offers to rebuild my team), we're tied with Denver for the 2nd best record in the BLB.

That one hurts. A 2-5 week with all the games at home. Not good. Now four back in the division, though just one back in the wild-card race. Plenty of divisional play to go.

This Ale/DL WC race is the most exciting we've had in a while. Since we're out of it, I may just watch a few of these down the stretch.

                        Thoughts on my team:

-We lost Ismael Reyes for the remainder of the regular season. He's not having the kind of season he had last year, but this hurts us. He's always capable of putting together a huge couple weeks.

-Al Hamilton keeps hitting just fine for us. He had his worst month in August (.309/.436/.426), but has bounced back in September (.397/.479/.460). If it wasn't for the two superhumans in Virginia, he'd be in the MVP discussion. But, since those two assholes are still in the league, he'll be lucky to get some 3rd place votes.

This will most likely be the best season of his career.

-Adrian Iturriaga came off the DL for us this sim, he'd be out since April. We also get Pancho Valentin back from injury and he's been solid in his first BLB action despite all the missed time. I'm expecting Valentin to be a good reliever going forward, but he's not there yet. With those 2 additions, I think my bullpen should be solid.

-Being 4 games back with 19 to play, it's going to take a great finish for us to realistically have a chance. Our next 9 games are all at home, including 3 vs Washington. I'm hoping for some magic, even if our stay in the playoffs would be a short one.

Huge series coming up. Hopefully I will be able to extend the lead this week, but I doubt it. The IL and DL wildcards are going to the final week.

This Ednams injury bug is ridiculous. As Pat would say he's been hurt longer than the entire Virginia team combined.

The Colonials have had two injuries since I last mentioned it...

A two day.... And a four day...

How they keep winning with these, no one knows...
