BLB "What If..." #7

Clay or Sully. They are the only two other GMs who know how to win in the best division in all of the BLB.

I'd go with Diesel. He's the best non commissioner owner over the long haul in my opinion.

Matt, hands down.
I like the way he runs his team. He builds a consistent, winning team that will win in years to come, yet he also makes immediate moves to improve his team when the situation presents itself.

JJ did care about his team/league though... so you wouldn't have to worry about his skipping town like chubby/TJ.

I'd pick Matt.
He's really hit his groove here lately it seems, and sense he's used to rebuilding, he'd fit right in for the next season.
Past owners, I'd go JJ. No explanation necessary.

He trades with me though.Originally posted by Delandis View PostI'd go with original Clown (Ryan).
He makes moves that make sense to me when he's managing the Clowns. He has a good combination of patience and aggressiveness when it comes to dealing with GM's and I almost always recognize the method to his madness.

At least you'll have a winning team when I'm done with it.

I'm not sure how to answer this one.
I've gone so far as believing Brad could run my day-to-day if I had to be away from the game for a week or so. He knows the game and I trust him. I trust the Pilsner guys, but it seems too close to give someone in the same division that much power.
But for a whole year? Brad trades too much for me to leave that up to him (not that I'm not becoming a trade whore myself).
I gotta think about this one some more.

It's a deadlock between Clay and Pat. Obviously two of the better drafters in the league. I love my young kids and Pat would NEVER trade my middle infielders away. I think Clay might, but he would get a kings ransom for them. Either way the future would be safe.
I give Funclown an honorable mention. He is a true Arab and will steal the clothes off of your back. No one "wins" more trades then him, with his cash transfers and throw-in players that seem to develop for no reason. I like what I've assembled so far and I would hate to see him rip it all apart though.

My list comes down to 3...
3rd Choice - AnStu - He knows how to win titles. Knows the game really well. Pretty conservative in his dealings. Knows how to take the abuse of owning a juggernaut.
2nd Choice - BradZ - Knows the game. Loves the game. Spends as much or more time on SGN as I do. However, getting a little too free with the trades to be my 1st choice.
1st Choice - Diesel - Don't want to pick Smear because he cheats... But he knows the game. He's won. He loves the Stout. He makes almost all good trades. And, #1 reason, he knows my team almost as well as I do.

Just remember every piece of your team, including future picks, would be traded though.
