No doubt. My point (not that I really have one) is that Scott could have spent his entire career at SS without issue.

      You guys are confusing me.

Clay said Chavez is better than Scott.

      Brad said: I know.

I say Scott wasn't chosen over Chavez.

So what are we talking about here?

And yes Chavez has a higher VORP than Sanchez but I was choosing all-time and my definition of that are guys that have played a considerable amount of time. That have a long history.

Chavez did make my under-30 squad for a reason.

For the record I wasn't complaining about your list. Just stating my opinion that ChaveZ is already the best MIF of all-time.

No I want complaints. That's the point.

I just didn't understand the reasoning behind your comment. But if you're just saying in general Chavez is better than Scott then that makes sense to me.

I saw it as you were making a statement about the list (which I'm for) and it didn't match what I wrote.

If complaints are what you're going for, then I'll say a list of under 30 stars that doesn't have (soon to be Triple Crown winning) Amri Sau is questionable.

If I'm making a team, there's no way that Bryant or Perez are on that list in the outfield.

Excellent point. Sau should be on it. Horrible omission.

Nope just a quick tidbit of ChAvez v Scott. I plan to do a list myself. Should have done the under 30 as a separate What If. Spread the love.

                  Glad I could help.

You also mentioned that the "future isn't too bright in the OF." I found that to be interesting, seeing how on the BLB VORP leaderboard, #3 and #4 are both 24 year old outfielders.

Too young for what I was doing. But I'm glad you're paying attention because I clearly need to.

So because I want to continue this convo.

                      I stand by omitting Sau.

I looked it over and here's why:

He's just now having a career year and though his ratings may indicate he is destined to be amazing for a while, I don't intend to believe in it until it happens.

I'm the guy that doesn't like it when people vote 25-year-olds to all-time teams because they had two great seasons.

I never believed Pujols was the best player in baseball even back in 2004 because I knew anything could happen. A couple good seasons mean nothing to me.

You know who had two excellent first seasons? Marty Cordova. See how that went?

So no Sau until he proves he can continue to do it.

Alright then, what about Rex Morgan at 1B? Fielding keep him out?

No. I just liked Rojas more. But Morgan will ( probably is already ) be the better player over the course of his career.

                          Good choice. Make a list.
