Kellum's under contract for 2 more years. If I'm Skerik, I'm praying he retires after this year.

Well I simply have to win every one of my 6 games left against Carolina and then pretty much every game after that. :D

As I peek towards next year I have to say it may be our best team.

If Tillbrook is ready, and I think he will be I will move him up to 1B. Then I can move Kirby back to catcher. Gallegos has played very well at 2B until Perez is ready, which may be next year.

Eric Buller is on fire as the 4th starter, he's 9-3.

I think our lineup will be death. We just can't afford injuries.

Time to make one big run here and hopefully make it interesting. No white flag yet...but we're getting it out of storage.

Feels good. Next year, we make our move.

Still lots of games left to play, no reason to count anything yet.

Rochester wants a 3 year extension for 17 per. It's safe to say he'll be hitting FA. I can't afford that, and I'd be hesitant anyway to give it to him due to his age. See Pete Kellum.

Then again, it's not like giving 14.5 per for 4 years to a career .246 hitter. ;)

                MacCabe has been awesome, though.

Well that sim could have gone better. Lost one of my Sub-5.00 ERA pitchers which is a rarity in Pawtucket for 7 months. I actually won a few games this sim though so its not all bad.

4-3 and more of the same. Cafferty has pitched well since coming over (4-1/3.63/8 GS) and has beat his former team twice (and yes Diesel....more K's than BB's). LaRochelle has been up and down and the games he's been up we haven't provided any run support.

Bovey finally signed his monster extension after my 4th attempt but he's well worth it if he continues to play this way.

On the bright side, my A ball team wrapped up their division. One of my gems that I found on the FA market, Anton Gutierrez who was having a great season (.335/.390/.404) went down with the now infamous pinched nerve - 7 months.

Is the next sim an 8 day sim to bring us to September 1st Andrew? Dylan Howard is dying for the call-up.

Speaking of Skerik, where has he been? He still has Kellum in his lineup and hasn't exported since June 17th. :-k

As long as nobody has any DFA conflicts, I'm fine with doing 8 days this week and 6 days next week. It would be nice to get to Sept 1st this sim, so we don't waste the first week with the next sim.

I was going to ask you that today. Please do it. I need to bring up 15 guys to the BLB to see if they can actually play and not just hit .380 in AAA.
