    I need a new rival.

We've never been good enough to really compete with VA.
Matt's gotten all stuck-up with his new huge market and winning ways.
California hasn't been any good since the Baltimore Bailout.
Brad's too freakin' nice to be a rival.

So, I had to aim my sights pretty low. I looked at the Bock and...there you guys were.

Never thought I'd post this, but sound logic by DelPrez.

        Yes, that was pretty low...

I guess I have to agree with Delandis.

They're a .500 team on the road and GREAT at home. I'm even better at home and have been a better road team. Plus, with Carillo out, when you drop to 3 or 4 man rotations, I'll take us 100 times out of 100 over anyone.
I guess we will have to wait and see.

Are you already conceding your Round 1 series with Batavia?

Of course not. But I'll be the underdog. Matt's got a squad this year, while I'm just a .500 club in an IL down year.

I don't see it as a down year for the IL. I just think the DL is top heavy in the Ale. The top half of the IL is still very good and, IMO, better than the DL. I mean, as competitive as the ALE has been with one another...are any of those teams really scary???

What is scary is 2 (or more) high 80 win teams could be sitting at home for the playoffs.

Wouldn't be shocked to have a 90 win team on the outside. I'm hoping for a 4-way tie.

Meh... You guys mostly just swapped talent between one another. Hartford added the most talent on paper, but I'm not convinced they can stay healthy enough. I like Hartford and Dallas in the DL from a talent standpoint. But, I'd take at least 3 IL teams over either of them.

I think Batavia and Virginia are clearly the top, but I like the four Ale teams over Davenport....and if D.C. cake walks to a WC, the IL isn't to deep.

I fear Maine. The IL has a poor history against the Guides.

Yep. I love their talent. I think their an unfortunate victim of an Owners whose real life is very busy right now. I think if Jim isn't swamped and work, this team is the one to beat in the DL.

                                Maine has never beat me.
