    What if #2...

What if Woodbury never leaves Philly?

Does Virginia take off into the superpower they have become? Does Woodbury get over the injury bug in Philly and become quite possibly the greatest all-time position player in BLB history?

I can tell you the Philly story would have ended after '89 anyway since he would have left via FA. We were in no position at the time to pay any player, even the best player in the game, $20+mil a season.

He was at or around #1 on the Top Player list even back then, so I think he's still one of the best All-Time no matter where he goes.

I think he shook off the injuries as a result of one of the version changes and me moving him out of CF. If his new ownership moves him to RF, I think he stays pretty healthy.

That being said, I don't know that he puts up the same numbers somewhere else. Colonial Park was built for him.

NOW...how does this impact VIR? We probably pay for him in FA. But, if not, I think we're still a top team now. Since Woodbury was my only "bought" piece, I think I still would have drafted well.

          Only bought piece?

Ohegarty, Pancho, Poling, Gremades, all products of trade, right?

              Poorly phrased...at work on phone...

He was the only established BLB star that I got in/near his prime that I won with.

              Pancho - Drafted
Ohegarty and Poling - Broke BLB cherry in VIR
              Gremades - Didn't win with

He was perfect for us at the time. We won games. Our young talent boomed. We just didn't win a ring with him.

It's only funny when Funclown gives his picks away. Just sad when you do it.

The future was really counting on me.

I personally think I get some good players for my draft picks.

                          Ignado
                          Barnes
                          Phillips
                          Nate Mcdonald
Hell even Gene Haynes will be good eventually.
