You can personally impose whatever budget you want. I can cut your market too if you're requesting it.

Could I trade another team? Or split the budget difference with say, Matt?

Are you guys trying to hurt the value of a division win in the Pilsner?

I'd rather have the markets and budgets evened out. I'd like to be able to spend to (or near) the 100 million cap like Maine, Pawtucket and Pittsburgh have the opportunity to do than switch teams. I've put a lot of effort into this team the last 5/6 seasons.

On topic, I'd probably go to the IL and take a team like Philly. I like the National League type game with strong pitching and 2-1 3-2 type games. The opposite of what I have in Hartford.

            Not on a self-imposed budget.

FWIW, my payroll is at 56.8 million. So I guess I am on a self imposed budget.

If by self imposed you mean that no one wants to sign with you, then yes. Yes you are.

                  It's like Linty's "self-imposed Virginity until he was 22"

Linty always pull out the Virginity until 22 card.

I'd probably take Batavia. Near my hometown and a small market. Lots of talent too.

So... I figure that logically I couldn't take an IL Team...though Morgantown and Philly would be appealing... so that leaves the 12 teams in the Domestic.

In reverse order, I'd rank my interest this way....

#12 Maine Guides - Maine is Maine. Though taking them back to the top would be appealing, it would seem anti-climatic.

#11 Mississippi Storm - No offense to the Storm, but there's just nothing exciting about the storm. They just feel like a super generic team.

#10 Indianapolis Clowns - I still consider the Clowns my favorite DL team, but they just wouldn't be much fun for me to own.

#9 Pittsburgh Millers - Too much JJ and Z stink on them.

#8 Syracuse Slammers - There is some appeal to 'Cuse because they have a decent system, an easy division and money. Plus, with only two playoff appearances in their history, it would be a fun fanbase to bring a winner to. But, I hate Syracuse... their logo doesn't match their unis... and I hate the name.

#7 Hartford Whalers - More appealing a year ago. They should be a contender for the next few years. Still like some of their players enough to rank them near the middle of the pack.

#6 Dallas Snappers - I've just always loved Dani Alvarez and would love to get him his ring.

#5 New Orleans Dukes - I just want to move them back to Vegas.

                        #4 Denver Bulls
                        - I'd take the Bulls here simply to fix those fargin' minor league teams!

#3 Los Lunas Javelinas - I've always liked the Furry Pigs. The only reason I don't rank them #1 is because they won the '78 title.

#2 Pawtucket Patriots - Come on! How fun would it be to fix Funclowns mess and win with them?

#1 Hyundai Dinos - Over a decade since they made the playoffs or finished above .500. Nicely constructed farm system with two legit MIF prospects - a must to build around. Would probably have to eventually change the name, but I think I'd bring a winner to So Cal.

                                Virginia.

No sign of stopping and their system is very good.
